Unisa is the Association of Italian Drop Forging Companies. It was established in 1963.

Actually it is composed
by 49 Members, which, with. 4500 employees and a
production of 910.000 tons.( 2006 ) , represent
the 70% of the production of the sector.
Most of Italian forging Companies are located in
3 main areas: the area of Canavese, in the north
of Turin, and the areas of Solbiate Arno and Lecco,
in the north - east of Milan. Most of the forging
Companies are spread in different areas of North
Italy; few ones in Central and South Italy.
